On November 3, the reporter learned from the State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Co., Ltd. that according to the statistics of the State Grid Smart Internet of Vehicles platform, the annual charging capacity of the charging pile operated by the State Grid Ningxia Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. has exceeded 10 million kilowatt hours, reaching 10.7325 million kilowatt hours, with a year-on-year growth of 168.29%.
It is reported that by the end of 2021, the number of new energy vehicles in Ningxia has reached 10500, an increase of 4480 over 2020, or 74.25%, 15 percentage points higher than the national average. This year, the ownership of new energy vehicles in Ningxia continued to show a good growth trend. Ningxia Electric Power seized the opportunity to continuously promote the construction of new energy vehicle charging facilities. Up to now, State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Company has put 349 charging stations and 816 charging piles into operation in Ningxia, with a total installed capacity of 52000 kilowatt hours, which are mainly distributed in comprehensive commercial areas, gas stations, highway service areas, transportation hubs, township power supply stations and other public places, and has achieved full coverage of charging facilities in 7 national and 4 provincial highways in Ningxia. The charging piles (stations) built and operated by Ningxia Electric Power have accounted for 70% of the total amount of the region, and become the core force of the charging facility service network in Ningxia.
In order to better serve the society, the State Grid Ningxia Electric Vehicle Company, which is responsible for the operation, discounts the charging service fees of taxis, online car hailing, logistics vehicles and other operational vehicles, and conducts car electricity package preferential activities in the e-charging App. At the same time, it cooperates with taxi companies, logistics companies and other operating companies to continuously develop the charging service market. Mr. Li, the taxi driver of Yinchuan electric network, uses the valley price at night to charge 60 kilowatt hours of electricity at about 25 yuan, bringing tangible benefits and convenience to the majority of new energy owners. At the same time, 24-hour monitoring is carried out regularly, and special personnel are responsible for the patrol inspection and equipment maintenance of each charging station to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the charging pile (station).
It is reported that by the end of 2025, Ningxia will plan to install 6000 charging piles, including 5000 DC charging piles and 1000 AC charging piles, which can meet the charging needs of about 30,000 new energy vehicles.
