Characteristics of various insulation structures:
(1) Oil-paper insulated cables are mainly divided into viscous impregnated paper insulation and non-dripping, which are generally used in 3-35KV systems. Adhesive impregnated paper insulated cable: simple structure, convenient manufacturing, low price, easy installation and maintenance, long life; Not suitable for high drop laying, insulation oil is easy to flow. Non-drip impregnated paper insulated cable; Higher cost than adhesive paper insulation, longer working life, can do high drop laying.
(2) Plastic insulated cables are common PVC, polyethylene and crosslinked polyethylene cables.
In addition to the outer semiconductor shielding layer, there is a layer of copper belt shielding, their role is to weaken the effect of external electric field on the xLPE, to ensure good insulation performance. Copper belt shielding is also used as a welding point for cable grounding protection. In addition to the copper belt shielding, three wire cores are filled with fillers, and the outermost layer is three-phase unified ladle belt and PVC outer protective sleeve.
