On November 1, Tianjin started heating. The cold winter is coming, and the grid load is gradually increasing. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid in winter, the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company focuses on the inspection of power supply lines in winter, carries out autonomous inspection of important lines by unmanned aerial vehicles, improves the line operation and maintenance guarantee capability, and provides door-to-door electricity services to important livelihood guarantee units such as heating and special groups, helps users eliminate potential electricity safety hazards, guarantees urban winter power supply in a multi-dimensional way, and goes all out to meet the “winter test” of the power grid.
On the basis of sorting out and forming more than 10000 important power supply guarantee stations and more than 900 10kV power supply lines, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Co., Ltd. used unmanned aerial vehicles to carry out infrared temperature measurement during low load periods at night, accurately grasp the “health” status of equipment, enhance the anti risk ability of equipment under low temperature conditions, ensure the “zero defect” operation of equipment, and improve the reliability of power supply.
“There are many complex terrain areas of overhead transmission lines. The application of UAVs can get rid of the geographical environment restrictions and give better play to the advantages of flexible and accurate temperature measurement in the air.” Wang Zhaoyang, the leader of the power transmission maintenance team in the power transmission inspection room of State Grid Tianjin Chengnan Company, said.
At the temperature measurement site at night, Wang Zhaoyang and his colleagues set the environmental temperature, relative humidity, equipment radiation rate and other parameters of the UAV in advance, planned the flight route, adjusted the position of the UAV, the angle of the PTZ, and the size of the focus, and constantly adjusted the shooting angle. After 2 hours of work, the established temperature measurement was successfully completed.
In the southern area of Tianjin, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power has organized the infrared temperature measurement of composite insulators for 33 110 kV lines, and will successively complete the temperature measurement of 29 35 kV transmission lines. “We will develop targeted maintenance plans based on the test results, replace faulty insulators in time, and do a good job in line anti galloping to improve the power supply capacity of equipment in winter.” Wang Zhaoyang said.
Moreover, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power regards ensuring heating power supply as an important part of winter power supply, focuses on the power demand of heating enterprises and “coal to electricity” users, implements detailed service measures, and helps Tianjin to warm up in winter.
On November 1, the heating service manager of State Grid Tianjin Wuqing Company came to Tianjin Huida Thermal Power Co., Ltd., located in Xiazhuzhuang Street, Wuqing District, to carry out a special inspection on the safety of heating electricity. The heating company is responsible for the winter heating task of 12 surrounding communities, 1 school and 1 commercial square. Before the heating period, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Co., Ltd. installed two new transformers for the thermal power company, increasing the capacity by 2050 KVA, and improving the power guarantee capacity of the thermal power company.
At the special inspection site, the heating service manager conducted a comprehensive “safety physical examination” for transformers, high-voltage cabinets, circuit breakers, lightning arresters and other equipment in the heating station, and gave on-site guidance to the enterprise electricians on electrical equipment management.
In Wuqing District, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power has arranged 34 heating service managers to carry out differentiated power supply guarantee services in accordance with the different power consumption characteristics of 150 heating enterprises, so as to fully ensure the safe power supply of heating stations in winter.
In Tangguantun Town, Jinghai District, 80km away from Wuqing District, Wang Zeyu, a staff member of the “Mobile and Convenient Service Station” of Tangguantun Power Supply Service Center of State Grid Tianjin Jinghai Company, came to the home of the “coal to electricity” user to conduct a visit to the electricity service.
“Aunt Wang, we just checked your electricity consumption, and the heating equipment is running normally. You can rest assured that you can use electricity.” Wang Zeyu said to Wang Maoqin, an old man living alone.
In order to fully grasp the winter electricity demand of users who “replace coal with electricity”, this winter, State Grid Tianjin Jinghai Company established 10 “mobile and convenient service stations” to enter villages and households to carry out electricity inspection. At the same time, dedicated service managers are assigned to the elderly who live alone more than 65 years old in the region to provide comprehensive power supply services. The “Mobile Convenience Service Station” only took three days to visit 403 households, providing a basis for improving winter service measures.
This year, heating enterprises increased heating equipment in Tangguantun Town, Jinghai District, to improve the heating effect of residents in winter. State Grid Tianjin Electric Power followed up the installation progress of heating equipment in a timely manner, installed 109 new heating transformers and 218 base towers for Tangguantun Town, so that the winter heating of 16 villages and 8446 households was free.
In order to effectively ensure Tianjin’s winter power supply, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power deployed 40 generators and more than 20 generator cars to be on standby throughout the city, ensuring that the winter power supply is foolproof.
